December to February

Everest Base Camp Horse Riding (EBC) Trek start from the Lukla Airport with a height of 2800m then we trek in little lower height zone Phakding, 2652 and from Phakding the rise will just go up and up. Furthermore, the trek goes to the Monjo 2,840m and afterward Namche Bazar 3,440m the Kyangjung 3,570m and Tengboche with an elevation of 3,860m. From that point you will trek to Pheriche 4,280m and afterward Dinboche 4,360m then Dughla 4,600m then Lobuche 4,940m and afterward Gorakshep with the rise of 5,170m and from that point last to the Everest Base Camp with the height of 5,364m and from base camp a little climb to the Kala Patthar with 5,554m most elevated height of this trek and after that back on a similar course

Altitude Sickness

Altitude sickness is the main problem in high altitude level areas of the Mountain and you will feel difficult to do trekking. AMS, HAPE & HACE are the sicknesses you can feel in the high-level area. The symptoms of Altitude Sickness are:-

  • Difficulty in sleeping
  • Dizziness
  • A headache
  • Rapid heart rate
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Fatigue
  • Shortness of breath
  • Low appetite

Acute Mountain Sickness

AMS happens because of maladaptation in the region having more stature and less oxygen. It very well may be forestalled by acclimatization in a region having lower tallness. The symptoms of AMS are:

Permits for the EBC Horse Riding Trekking

Every trekker needs some permits to do trekking in the Everest Region. You have got all of them before you start your trekking journey and some permits you can get on the way.

The permits you need to do Everest Trekking is given below:-

Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit with NPR 2,000 per person.

Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit with NPR 3,000 per person

Accommodation & Food for EBC Trekking

During the trekking journey, you will stay at the lodges or at teahouse. All the rooms you will get on a twin sharing basis. Singles rooms will be provided in guest demand but you have to pay extra for that and maybe you cant find a single room in some places. The room will be clean & warm for you and the night stay offers you some hot shower as well.

While on the trekking you have to eat nicely to not get sick and weak your body. On the night stay, you will have the delicious Nepali Food or you can eat some international food like Indian, Continental, bakery items and different types of coffee. You can also have the Thakali food and some refreshment drinks like soft drinks, juice or hot chocolates, etc.
